Mission:

The mission of the ITA is to continually improve the quality of NLP Training on offer to the NLP public by ensuring our member Trainers have themselves received the highest quality NLP Trainers Training and testing, and that member trainers are committed to continually develop and enhance their own NLP skills.

We are seeking:

• Trainers who are congruent with their message, and are competent in NLP intellectually and behaviourally
• Trainers who teach from a modelling perspective, and be competent at the different stages of the modelling process. Modelling is the core methodology of NLP.
• Trainers who test robustly for behavioural competencies in NLP patterning and recognise that behavioural competencies are of a higher importance than verbal adroitness in speaking about the patterns.
• Trainers who make explicit the distinctions between process and content models. To teach NLP from a process perspective
• Trainers who ensure certification at the different levels is a valuable experience for the candidate. There has been a tendency in the field to offer blanket certification schemes with no real testing. This is akin to buying a certificate.  The ITANLP is about offering valuable learning experiences.

The above sounds simple enough, to us at the ITA, but believe it or not most of the Trainers out there (non ITA) are not offering the even the minimum competencies expected from an ITA Trainer
